The last ten years of my life have been a slow but sure walk towards a more healthy and sustainable one. Breathe Write has been born out of this camino back to wholeness.
Breathwork is not a quick fix for transformation, but it will help you slow down, be still and become a witness to your subconscious. A dedicated time – to come home, to listen and to realign. An invitation to curiously dive into the deep caverns of self and mystery, where wonder, truth and freedom await!
I am no breath master or ‘guru’, I am a student of breath and spirituality – continuing to add other breathwork and somatic training modalities to my bow. As I continue to learn and cultivate my own practice, it is an honour to facilitate and hold space for others to connect with the power of their breath.
If you are tired of striving and forcing your nervous system to perform better. If you are weary of the masks we sometimes feel we must wear to survive systems that do not honour the natural rhythms of the mind and body. If you feel the pull of a different river — one where you can rest, regulate and recalibrate. Where the need to be seen softens into the deeper call to return to the quieter, truer parts within. This is a space where you can breathe, be undone and simply be. Perhaps fall apart and slowly be put back together again. Where you might rewild and rediscover the beating heart of what makes you feel alive.
If finding flow rather than forcing results speaks to your heart, then perhaps this is a place where you can feel safe, celebrated and gently empowered.
Welcome.

I had felt a pull to breathwork for a number of years and tried a few different modalities. Having periodically struggled with fear and anxiety, slower, deeper breathing was something that I instinctively turned to in times of extreme stress.
Breathwork is helping me regulate a hypervigilant nervous system in the midst of what has been a challenging succession of close personal bereavements. It is one of several somatic and spiritual tools which have invited me to face both the pain and metamorphosis in loss; experiencing grief as both a teacher and gateway to healing, transformation and hope.
Making the decision to train as a breathwork facilitator crystallized after years of researching for the right breathwork modality and training school. I found in Neurodynamic Breathwork the science, practice and ethics that aligned with my values. And a community and leadership that was humble and authentic; with an attitude to ‘wellness’ that was more about vulnerability and accountability – not about forcing an experience or performance. The year-long facilitator training was one of the most transformative and powerful courses of my life to date. And not just in breathwork facilitation, but in how to live a more surrendered, thankful and present existence. I felt more grounded, alive and whole than I can remember.
Regular breathing has given me greater nervous system capacity and increasingly aligns me back to my inner truth, creativity and passions. With my writing clients and Film and TV work, breathwork is an additional offering I can bring to the table to help writers relax, overcome creative blocks and get more in touch with their creativity and projects. With my own writing and creativity, it has helped me heal the wounded artist and child within that was wrestling more with ego and a need to be seen, at the cost of being true to my ‘voice’ – and the art I was really passionate about creating.
I look forward to breathing together – whether that be in an online group class, one or one or in a workplace corporate setting.
